Law enforcement report

Burglaries and thefts reported

A radar detector, stereo amplifier and a case containing 200 compact discs were stolen when a car parked in the 1000 block of Colonial Circle was broken into, a Lawrence Police report said. The incident occurred sometime between 6 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday, the report said. The car belonged to a 35-year-old Lawrence man. Losses were listed at $3,750.

Police reports

A 1985 Toyota Camry was set on fire shortly after midnight Monday in the 1700 block of West Fourth Street, a Lawrence Police report said. The car was also determined to have been reported stolen out of Topeka. Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical extinguished the fire. Damage to the car was listed at $1,000.
