— No services for Louise Scott, 81, Ottawa, are planned. Cremation has taken place.

Ms. Scott died Sunday, March 18, 2001, at Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Hospital, Gardner.

She was born May 10, 1919, in Emporia, the daughter of Ralph Joseph and Emma Leona (Beckley) Reed. She grew up in Albuquerque, N.M., and Glendale, Calif., where she graduated from Hoover High School in 1937. She moved to St. Paul, Minn., in 1950, where she graduated from business college in 1952. She moved to Ottawa after her retirement in 1982.

Mrs. Scott was a secretary for the state of Minnesota and later for the Federal Highway Administration.

She had been a member of American Legion Auxiliary and GL Card Club.

Survivors include a brother, Ralph Joseph Reed Jr., Westerville, Ohio; and a sister, Martha Hart, Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

The family suggests memorials to Franklin County Cancer Foundation; they may be sent in care of the Lamb-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home, P.O. Box 14, Ottawa 66067.
