Horton — Services for Genevieve K. Armstrong, 85, Horton, were Monday at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Horton. Burial was in St. Leo's Catholic Cemetery, Horton.
Mrs. Armstrong died Thursday, March 15, 2001, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 9, 1915, in Mercier, the daughter of Charles and Josephine (Burkart) Schuetz.
Mrs. Armstrong was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church, Horton.
She married Charles Wyatt Armstrong July 31, 1935, in Mercier. He died Dec. 6, 1992.
Survivors include two sons, Donald and Ronald Armstrong, both of Horton; four daughters, Delores Coty and Betty Kniesel, both of Manhattan; Barbara Freed, Lawrence; and Nancy Meinecke, Omaha, Neb.; two brothers, Clement Schuetz, Atascadero, Calif., and Lloyd Schuetz, Horton; a sister, Rita Winkelbauer, Horton; 21 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary, Horton, was in charge of arrangements.
