Bowling at Sunflower Lanes, Ottawa, will be offered from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. A fee will be charged for all events.

The coalition is also teaming up with Ransom Memorial Hospital to sponsor the sixth annual Children's Health and Safety Fair from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday.

Activities at the fair will include face painting, tours of emergency vehicles, health screenings, library card sign-ups and recreation opportunities.

Lawrence Memorial Hospital will offer a class for expectant parents the next two Mondays.

The class will be offered from 6:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. and is taught by a registered nurse with extensive childbirth education training.

Refresher Prenatal includes a review of vaginal and cesarean birth, medications and interventions, relaxation and breathing techniques, and how to prepare older children for the arrival of a new baby.

According to LMH, a tour of the LMH Maternity Unit may be included, depending on the activity level of the unit.

The cost of the class is $20 per person and $25 per couple. For more information or to enroll, call ConnectCare at 749-5800.
