Burglaries and thefts reported
A Sony stereo system and other personal property were stolen in an automobile burglary sometime during the early morning hours Sunday, according to police reports. The car was parked in the 800 block of Walnut Street. A 25-year-old Lawrence woman was identified as the owner. Losses were listed at $2,580.
A 37-year-old Lawrence woman reported a burglary and theft at her home in the 1900 block of East 19th Street. The break-in occurred sometime between March 7 and Saturday, according to police reports. An oak entertainment center, a telephone and other personal property were missing. Losses were listed at $1,280.
