State Sen. Susan Wagle announced Friday that her cancer is in remission.

Wagle, R-Wichita, attended the first Friday session in the Senate chamber in two months. She has been absent because of weekly treatments in Wichita.

"I got the all-clear last Friday," she said.

Wagle has low-grade non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
