Lenexa — Memorial services for Prudence "Prudy" J. Kimery, 54, Lenexa, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Amos Family Funeral Chapel, Lenexa.
Mrs. Kimery died Friday, March 16, 2001, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
She was born March 17, 1946, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Richard H. and Nancy Johnson.
She graduated from Northern Illinois University and earned a master's degree from Washburn University, Topeka.
She taught at Arrowhead Elementary School in the Shawnee Mission School District and had taught in Topeka for several years.
She lived in Lawrence from late 1994 until the summer of 1996.
She was married to Tom Kimery for 32 years. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Chris Kimery, Shawnee; two sisters, Nancy Marquis, Waco, Tex., and Priscilla Crozier, Kerrville, Tex.; and a brother, Warren Johnson, Crawford, Tex.
