Oskaloosa Graveside services for Geneva J. Miller, 68, Gahanna, Ohio, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Pleasant View Cemetery, Oskaloosa.
Ms. Miller died Monday, March 12, 2001, in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born June 29, 1932, in Oskaloosa, the daughter of Willard and Genevieve L. (Robohn) Viles. She graduated from Oskaloosa High School.
Ms. Miller was a founding member of "Poetry and Praise Productions," a songwriters and poets critique. She was also a nationally published poet, and a member of Oskaloosa United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, David Miller, Gahanna, Ohio, and Kenneth Phillip Miller, Canal Winchester, Ohio; a daughter, Deborah Miller, Gahanna, Ohio; her mother, Genevieve Viles, Oskaloosa; three sisters, Nova Lee Cottrell, Perry, Annette Rhoades, Tyler, Tex., and Rosalie McQueen, Missouri; and four grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to "Poetry and Praise Productions," P.O. Box 14902, Columbus, Ohio 43214 or Breakthrough Ministry, which may be sent in care of Marion Christian Center, 1550 Richland Road, Marion, Ohio 43302.
Barnett Funeral Home, Oskaloosa, is in charge of local arrangements.
