Services for Ernest P. Haley, 68, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church. Burial with full military honors will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Mount Hope Cemetery, Webb City, Mo.
Mr. Haley died Tuesday, March 13, 2001, at his home.
Mr. Haley joined in the U.S. Air Force in 1951 and served until 1955, including in the Korean War. He worked at Penney Ready Mix as a contractor, and founded Comet Inc. in 1968. At the time of his death, he owned and operated Standard Construction, Haley Pest Control and Comet Inc. with his son.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Warren-McElwain Mortuary, where the family will greet friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today.
The family suggests memorials to the church, sent in care of the mortuary.
