Services for Kenneth L. Puckett, 82, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. today at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Puckett died Saturday, March 10, 2001, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 7, 1919, in Lone Star, the son of LeRoy Puckett and Ruth Bond.
Mr. Puckett was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He worked at Kansas University, and at the Lawrence Paper Co. for 26 years. He retired in January 1977. He attended Clinton Parkway Assembly of God.
Mr. Puckett married Alta "Bertie" Williams on Feb. 25, 1952, in Bentonville, Ark. She died Feb. 24, 2001.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Coffelt, Lawrence; two brothers, Harry, Lawrence, and Wayne, Tucson, Ariz.; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will greet them from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
