Kansas bags number four in the Midwest

Kansas has landed the number four seed in the Midwest bracket, and will be travelling to Dayton, Ohio to face Cal State Northridge. The Jayhawks will play on Friday, March 16. The other side of their bracket matches Hawaii and Syracuse. The winners of those two games face off on Sunday. The top seed in the Jayhawks' bracket is Illinois.

Iowa State landed the highest seed of the six Big 12 teams invited to the Dance. As a reward, the Cyclones get to travel to Boise, Idaho. The other Big 12 teams are Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas and Missouri.

The teams scheduled to play in Kemper Arena, also this Friday, are Notre Dame v. Xavier, Ole Miss v. Iona, Wake Forest v. Butler and Arizona v. Eastern Illinois.
