Stahl
William "Bill" and Lucille Stahl, Lawrence, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with their children.
They were married March 16, 1941, in Little Rock, Ark.
Bill served in the Army for five years during World War II.
They owned and operated Bill's Cafe in Sterling and Stahl's Cafe in Ulysses.
They moved to Lawrence during January 1968. Bill worked at Kansas University in food services.
Their children are Linda Courtright, Phoenix, and Bill Stahl Jr., Olympia, Wash.
They have three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Thomas
Keith and Georgia Thomas, Lawrence, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
The couple were married March 11, 1951, in Pawnee Station.
They have two children, Dwayne Thomas, Merriam, and Debbie Harrison, Union, Miss.
They also have five grandchildren.
