The Douglas County Beef Masters 4-H Project Club met Feb. 20 at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds.

Melissa Colgan, president, called the meeting to order.

Cybill Milburn, secretary, took roll call and read the last meeting's minutes.

The club voted to sponsor the Reserve Champion Supreme Female award for this year's Douglas County Free Fair.

The club will host the Douglas County Bucket Calf clinic at 7 p.m. April 17 in Building 21 South at the fairgrounds. Area 4-H members enrolled in the bucket calf project are encouraged to attend.

Schedule changes for this year's fair were presented and feedback was given to Tim Horne, Douglas County Fair Board member.

Members were reminded of the beef weigh-in from 9 a.m. to noon March 17.

Melissa Colgan and Michelle Colgan presented an illustrated talk entitled "E=F+A+Z."

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. April 17 in Building 21 South at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds.
