Perry — Graveside services for Charles T. Michael, 81, Perry, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Perry.
Mr. Michael died Tuesday, March 6, 2001, at Colmery-O'Neil V.A. Hospital, Topeka.
He was born Aug. 7, 1919, in Perry, the son of Marshall and Mae (Hemphill) Michael.
Mr. Michael served in the U.S. Navy for 21 years. He then worked at several jobs, including a canning factory, the Lawrence school system, Hercules Powder Co. and Kmart Distribution Center.
He married Dorothy G. Bariteau July 5, 1946, in Pascagoula, Miss. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include three sisters, Larena Radcliffe, Nona Clark and Lucille Stanclift, all of Lawrence; and a brother, Bob, Wichita.
A son, Charles T., died in 1976.
Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, Lawrence, is in charge of arrangements.
