Services for Timothy Neal Adams, 11, Lawrence, will be at 4 p.m. Friday at First Church of the Nazarene. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at La Plata (Mo.) Cemetery.
Timothy died Monday, March 5, 2001, at his home.
He was born Aug. 15, 1989, in Smithville, Mo., the son of Neal L. and Mary H. (Gregory) Adams. He moved to Lawrence in 1999 from Kentucky.
Timothy was a fourth-grader at Prairie Park School, and played basketball and baseball through Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department. He was a member of Lawrence Wesleyan Church.
Survivors include his parents, Neal and Mary Adams, of the home; a sister, Molly Adams, of the home; paternal grandparents, William and Wanda Adams, Overbrook, and Richard and Shirley Bivens, Lawrence; and maternal grandparents, Robert and Margaret Brower, Queen City, Mo.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Private visitation for the school will be from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Lawrence Wesleyan Church, Ninth and Madeline, where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.
The family suggests memorials to Trinity Respite Care, sent in care of the funeral home.
