— Services for Erma June Dillon, 71, Elk Falls, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Lamb-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home, Ottawa. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, near Centropolis.

Mrs. Dillon died Monday, March 5, 2001, at Midland Hospice Care, Topeka.

She was born Sept. 6, 1929, in Topeka, the daughter of Lester Winifred and Rosa Lee Clark. She grew up in the Pomona area and graduated from Appanoose High School in 1947. She moved to Elk Falls in 1988.

Mrs. Dillon and her husband farmed and raised dairy cattle from 1947 to 1988.

She married George Henry Dillon Jr. on June 25, 1947, in Ottawa. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include four daughters, Lucinda Ann Schroeder, Tecumseh, Wynona Kay Koehn, Elk Falls, Patricia Lynn Luetje, Topeka, and Tonya Leah Swinehart, Lyndon; a sister, Jean Woodland, Maple Hill; a brother, Vernon Clark, Pomona; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

An infant son, Winifred George Dillon, died earlier.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.

The family suggests memorials to Topeka Midland Hospice Care, Inc. or American Diabetes Assn., and they may be sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 14, Ottawa 66067.
