Emporia State senior forward Emily Bloss, a Wellsville product, has been named most valuable player of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Assn.
Bloss averages 21.2 points and 7.8 rebounds a game for the Hornets, 28-1 entering the NCAA Div. II South Central Regional basketball tournament later this week in Kingsville, Texas.
