— Former football star O.J. Simpson entered a plea of not guilty Monday to charges he reached into another driver's car and snatched off the man's glasses.

Simpson is charged with burglary of an occupied conveyance and misdemeanor battery in connection with the Dec. 4 incident.

Kendall resident Jeffrey Pattinson told police that Simpson's black Lincoln Navigator ran a stop sign and crossed his path, causing him to hit his brakes and honk his horn.

A little farther down the road, Simpson stopped, got out and yelled at him, Pattinson told police.

He said Simpson reached in through his window and snatched his glasses off his face, causing a scratch.

Simpson's attorneys deny the allegations. The trial has been set for June 25.
