WELLINGTON — Memorial services for Elsie "Grace" Long, 92, Conway Springs, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First Christian Church Chapel.
Mrs. Long died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at Spring View Manor, Conway Springs.
She was born Feb. 3, 1909, in Lawrence, the daughter of Frank W. and Lovisa (Gaumer) Sneegas.
Mrs. Long had worked at Reuter Organ Factory, Lawrence, for 20 years.
She married John F. Long on March 10, 1928, in Kansas City, Kan. He died in 1992.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Long, Beecher, Ill., and John Long, DeSoto; a daughter, Doris Haines, Wellington; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Laurena Shobe, and a grandchild died earlier.
The family suggests memorials to American Red Cross or Hospice Care of Kansas, and they may be sent in care of Frank Funeral Home.
