CHAPEL HILL, N.C. No. 2 Duke (26-4, 13-3), playing at a breakneck offensive pace without their top inside threat, made ACC history by winning or tying for their fifth straight regular-season title with a 95-81 victory over No. 4 North Carolina on Sunday.
Duke lost by two points to the Tar Heels (23-5, 13-3) in Durham a month ago, but remained alive for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.
Freshman Chris Duhon scored 15 points in his first career start. Duke was 14-for-38 from three-point range without center Carlos Boozer, who watched from the bench with a broken bone in his right foot.
Jason Williams scored 33 points and Shane Battier added 25 points.
No. 5 Illinois 67, Minnesota 59
Minneapolis Illinois claimed a share of its second Big Ten title in four seasons with a victory over Minnesota. The Illini (23-6, 13-3), which finished in a first-place tie with Michigan State, earned the No. 1 seed in the Big Ten tournament because of a victory over the Spartans on Feb. 6. Illinois' Bill Self became the first coach in 22 seasons to win a title in his first season in the Big Ten.

Gainesville, Fla. Teddy Dupay matched his career high with 28 points to help Florida earn a share of the SEC title with a win over co-champion Kentucky.
No. 21 Georgetown 79, No. 13 Notre Dame 72
South Bend, Ind. Mike Sweetney scored 19 points and Ruben Boumtje Boumtje added 16 as the Hoyas dominated inside. Georgetown (23-6, 10-6) made 10 of 12 free throws over the final 2:17 and earned a first-round bye in this week's Big East tournament.
No. 19 Syracuse 93,
St. John's 91, 2 OTs
New York Senior point guard Allen Griffin scored 17 of his career-high 31 points in the two overtimes and Syracuse used an impressive performance at the free-throw line to snap St. John's 15-game winning streak over Big East opponents at Madison Square Garden.
No. 23 Wake Forest 76, N.C. State 58
Raleigh, N.C. Darius Songaila scored 21 points and Robert O'Kelley had 15 to lead the Demon Deacons (19-9, 8-8), who finished .500 or above in the ACC for the first time in four years. Cliff Crawford had 18 points for N.C. State (13-15, 5-11).
Dayton 65,
No. 25 Xavier 62
Dayton, Ohio Yuanta Holland scored eight points in a closing 15-4 spurt as the Flyers rallied for the win. Dayton (18-11, 9-7 Atlantic 10) overcame an eight-point deficit in the final 5:18 behind Holland, who made three baskets and two free throws down the stretch.
