Mass of Christian Burial for Debra Jo Plank, 42, Williamsburg, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Plank died Friday, March 2, 2001, in a traffic accident at the intersection of U.S. Highways 59 and 56.

She was born March 30, 1958, in Larned, the daughter of Wencel Otto and Pat (Shearrer) Steiner. She grew up in the Larned area and graduated from Great Bend High School.

Mrs. Plank was a certified nurse's aide and had worked for Golden Heights Nursing home in Garnett. She recently had been employed at Baldwin Care Center in Baldwin.

She married William Plank Jan. 2, 1983, in Manitou Springs, Colo. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Shannon R. Lewis, Vassar; a daughter, April M. Plank, of the home; a brother, Terry Shearrer, Louisburg; two sisters, Linda Ruble and Kim Gorton, both of Hoisington; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today at Warren-McElwain Mortuary, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.

The family suggests memorials to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, sent in care of the mortuary.
