Benoit activated, Stevenson on IL
Salt Lake City Utah Jazz forward David Benoit was activated Friday from the injured list. The Jazz placed guard DeShawn Stevenson on the injured list. He has tendinitis in the right knee. Stevenson is averaging 2 points in limited playing time.
Wizards shelve Nesby
Washington Tyrone Nesby was placed on the injured list Friday by the Washington Wizards, who re-signed rookie Mike Smith. Nesby sprained an ankle in practice Thursday. He is averaging 8.4 points and 2.9 rebounds with the Wizards in 42 games, including 21 starts.
Bulls activate Ruffin
Chicago The Chicago Bulls activated forward Michael Ruffin off the injured list Friday after he missed 18 games with a broken bone in his right hand. Dragan Tarlac took Ruffin's place on the injured list.
