DeSoto — Services for Velma D. Henry, 81, DeSoto, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at DeSoto Baptist Church. Burial will be in DeSoto Cemetery.
Mrs. Henry died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, at her home.
She was born March 27, 1919, in Hume, Mo.
Mrs. Henry had worked at the corner market and variety store in DeSoto.
Survivors include four daughters, Judith Midyett, Tucson, Ariz., Joyce Stewart, DeSoto, Rebecca Nielsen, Shawnee, and Peggie Corrigan, Eudora; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Kenneth Henry, died earlier.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel, DeSoto.
