— Services for Thelma F. Boughton, 82, Broken Arrow, Okla., will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Broken Arrow, Okla. Burial will be in Haskell (Okla.) Cemetery.

Mrs. Boughton died Monday, Feb. 27, 2001, at Forest Hills Health Care Center, Broken Arrow, Okla.

She was born Nov. 18, 1918, in Payne County, Okla., the daughter of Jack and Susie (Etheridge) Nickels. She graduated from high school in Stillwater, Okla., in 1936. She lived in Lawrence about 15 years. She moved to Broken Arrow in May 1984 from Lawrence.

Mrs. Boughton was a homemaker and seamstress, having worked in several women's dress shops. She was a member of Garden Club, First Baptist Church and Joy Singers Senior Choir.

She married Glenn A. Boughton on May 11, 1937, in Stillwater, Okla. He died June 10, 1997.

Survivors include three daughters, Karen Webb, Haskell, Okla., Bonnie Harris, Pinion Hills, Calif., and Bette Fletcher, Columbia, Mo.; two sisters, Elna Jones, Drumright, Okla., and Barbara Lee Kerby, Perkins, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Hayhurst Funeral Home, Broken Arrow, Okla.

The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Building Fund, 210 E. Broadway, Broken Arrow, Okla. 74012.
