The Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department is offering hepatitis B vaccine to adolescents through a special one-time program.
Children from 12 to 17 years of age who are born on or after July 1, 1982, are eligible for the program. The three-dose series of vaccine must be started by March 31 and completed by Sept. 30.
Shots can be obtained at the following times and locations:
8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the health department.
9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the health department.
8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the health department.
8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the health department.
8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday at the health department.
9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., first Friday of every month at First United Methodist Church, 704 E. Eighth, Baldwin.
9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., second Friday of every month, Eudora City Hall, 4 E. Seventh St.
10 a.m. to noon, first Saturday of every month at the health department.
