Law enforcement report

Burglaries and thefts reported

Stereo speakers, an amplifier, compact discs and several other items were taken sometime Monday night or early Tuesday from a car parked in the 3200 block of West 21st Street, a Lawrence Police report said. The thefts were reported by a 21-year-old Lawrence man. Losses were listed at $1,060.

Condition reports

Jacquelyn Stineman, the 33-year-old Lawrence woman injured Saturday in a one-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 56, 5 miles west of Baldwin, remained in critical condition Wednesday night at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.
