Claflin Services for Helen K. Foster, 84, Claflin, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, Claflin. Burial will follow at the Claflin Cemetery.

Mrs. Foster died Friday, June 22, 2001, at the Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita.

She was born December 19, 1916, in Claflin, the daughter of Carl E. Radenberg and Lulu (Grossardt) Radenberg.

She married Harry C. Foster on April 26, 1939, in Claflin. He survives of the home.

A teacher and homemaker, Mrs. Foster also was a 4-H leader, Sunday school teacher at the United Methodist Church and tutor at Claflin schools.

Survivors include two sons, James A. Foster, Salina, and Jack E. Foster, Leawood; two daughters, Virginia Sayler, Lawrence, and Marilyn Kirk, Evanston, Ill.; a brother, Glenn Radenberg, Claflin; two sisters, Norma Stucky, Newton, and Dorothy Tritsch, Claflin; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington, and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church.

The family suggests memorials to the Claflin Ambulance Fund or United Methodist Youthville, in care of the funeral home.
