Wulfkuhle services

Services for Frances Wulfkuhle, 99, Lawrence, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Stull United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Stull Cemetery.

Mrs. Wulfkuhle died Thursday, July 26, 2001, at Lawrence Presbyterian Manor.

She was born Sept. 1, 1901, in Lecompton, the daughter of Charles F. and Alice Elizabeth (Buchheim) Bahnmaier. She attended school at Lecompton.

Mrs. Wulfkuhle was a lifelong resident of Stull until she moved to Presbyterian Manor. She was a member of Stull United Methodist Church.

She married Ernest Frederick Wulfkuhle April 16, 1922, in Lawrence. He died Aug. 6, 1993.

Survivors include a sister, Florence Mitchell, Lawrence; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Two sons preceded her in death. Wesley Wulfkuhle died in April 1985, and Homer Wulfkuhle died Jan. 19, 1998.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at Stull United Methodist Church.

The family suggests memorials in her name to the church, sent in care of the funeral home.
