Law enforcement report

Burglaries and thefts reported

Someone took two 12-inch Pile Driver speakers, a Radion stereo amplifier and 100 compact discs between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. Saturday from a residence in the 1600 block of West Ninth Street, according to a Lawrence Police report. A 25-year-old Lawrence man who lives at the address reported the disappearance and estimated the value of the items at $2,000.

Lawrence Police are investigating the disappearance of a .357-caliber Magnum Ruger Blackhawk revolver with a 9 1/2-inch barrel from a residence in the 1100 block of Connecticut. A 26-year-old Lawrence man reported that the gun valued at $300 was taken between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 7 p.m. Thursday, a Lawrence Police report said. A JVC VCR and six other items also were taken during the burglary. The total loss was listed at $1,449.

A 47-year-old Lawrence woman reported that a CD player and 100 compact discs were taken between midnight and 2:30 a.m. Saturday from her residence in the 1000 block of West 24th Street, a Lawrence police report said. The items were valued at $1,719.

Condition reports

Jacqueline Stineman, the 33-year-old Lawrence woman injured June 23 in a one-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 56, 5 miles west of Baldwin, was listed in serious condition Saturday night at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.
