Teens face charges for shooting at cars
Three Johnson County men have been charged with firing a pellet rifle at cars on Interstate 435 in Overland Park.
Johnson County prosecutors charged the three Wednesday in three incidents from July 1. Police were continuing to review reports of similar attacks in the same area.
Brothers Michael A. Walker, 19, and Nicholas C. Walker, 18, who live in an apartment complex near the site of the shootings, and Roosevelt Neal, 18, of Olathe, face felony counts in the case.
Each was charged in Johnson County District Court with three counts of discharging a firearm at an occupied motor vehicle and three counts of criminal damage to property. Bond for each man was set at $7,500.
Overland Park police arrested the suspects Monday.

House fire deadly to two children
Two children were killed and a third was injured Thursday in a house fire in south Kansas City, fire officials said.
The victims were identified as Sean Baumgardner, 5, and Nathan Chamberlain, 3. A 13-month-old child in the home was treated and released at an area hospital, the fire department said.
The cause of the fire and damage to the home are still under investigation.
