Carstedt-Meseraull

Karen Annette Carstedt and Douglas Raymond Meseraull were married April 7, 2001, at Indian Hills Church of God, Lawrence, with the Rev. Bill Kimbel officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Edward and Carolyn Carstedt, Moran. The groom is the son of Steve and Helen Meseraull, Lawrence.

Michelle Stevens was maid of honor. Tim Bruce was best man.

Bridesmaids were Lindsay Cady and Shelly Stumpe. Groomsmen were Ken Hester and Evan Carstedt.

Ushers were Matt Stumpe, Matt Wise, Aaron Stone and Daniel Rork. The candle lighters were Mark Rogers and Emily Rogers. The scripture readers were Julia Mills, Brianna Reeves and Andrea Padgett. Matthew Jacobsen was ring bearer, and Bethany Cook was flower girl.

Guest book attendants were Julie Underwood and Shannon Bogle. Gift table attendants were Emily Woodson and Tiffany Swigart. Monica Lindsay was wedding coordinator.

Patty Meseraull was pianist. Fletcher Hamel was soloist.

A reception and dance followed at the Meseraull home. Assisting at the reception were Betty Welland, Sara Farnsworth, Ashley Van Vickle, Virginia Stryker and Stephanie Stryker.

The bride is the manager of Candyopolis, Topeka. The groom is an electrician for facility operations at Kansas University.

The couple live in Lawrence.

Graham-Bartels

Tanya Graham and Jeff Bartels were married June 9, 2001, at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Leawood, with the Rev. Thomas Krause officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Larry and Iris Graham, Deerfield. The groom is the son of Vern and Ruth Ellen Bartels, Lawrence.

The maid of honor was Maria Velasco. The best man was Chris Busch.

Bridesmaids were Tara Graham and Tamera Graham. Groomsmen were Vance Lassey and Doug Bartels.

Travis Graham was usher. Amy Bartels was guest book attendant.

A reception followed at Longview Lake, Kansas City, Mo.

The bride is a 1995 Deerfield High School graduate. She received an associate's degree in physical therapy from Colby Community College in 1998. She is employed by Overland Park Regional Center.

The groom is a 1993 Lawrence High School graduate. He received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Kansas University in 1997. He is employed by the Nofsinger division of Burns and McDonnell, Kansas City, Mo.

The couple live in Olathe.

Newton-Breer

Kelli Newton and Kevin Breer were married Oct. 20, 2000, at Christ the King Church, Topeka, with the Rev. Norbert Lickteig officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Otto and Rosa Lee Newton, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Marlin Breer and Carol Breer, both of Wichita.

The matron of honor was Kim Gronniger. The best man was John Havel.

Jennifer Allison was bridesmaid. Kyle Breer was groomsman.

A reception followed at The Woodward, Topeka.

The bride is a graduate of Kingwood High School, Houston. She received a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas and a law degree from Washburn Law School. She is an attorney with Shook, Hardy and Bacon, Kansas City, Mo.

The groom is a Wichita Southeast High School graduate. He received a bachelor's degree from Washburn University and a law degree from Washburn Law School. He is an attorney with Polsinelli, Shalton and Welte, Overland Park.

The couple live in Countryside.

Salter-Muncy

Maryann Salter and Dustyn Muncy were married April 21, 2001, at Plymouth Congregational Church, Lawrence, with the Rev. Peter Luckey officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Patricia Salter, Seattle. The groom is the son of Dirk and Debra Muncy, Lawrence.

The maid of honor was Jessica White. The best man was Nathan Oshel.

A reception followed the ceremony.

The bride is a 1994 Renton High School graduate. She attended Washington State University.

The groom is a 1995 Lawrence High School graduate. He attended Johnson County Community College.

The couple live in Lawrence.

Tassone-Tilford

Rena Michelle Tassone and Eric Bret Tilford were married May 3, 2001, in Positano, Italy.

The bride's parents are Richard and Andrea Tassone, Dallas. The groom is the son of Lewis and Charlene Tilford, Lawrence.

The matron of honor was Christine Schwartz. The best man was Keith Tilford.

A reception followed at the Covo de Soraceni.

The bride is a 1987 graduate of Bishop Sullivan High School, Baton Rouge, La. She received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Alabama.

The groom is a 1987 Lawrence High School graduate. He attended Kansas University.

They are co-owners of Core, an advertising agency in St. Louis, where they live.
