Clinton Parkway offers children's program

Clinton Parkway Assembly of God Church offers a "Seaside with the Savior" program for children ages 3 through sixth grade. The weekly program meets at 6:50 p.m. Wednesdays at the church, 3200 Clinton Parkway.

Mustard Seed groups schedule activities

The Mustard Seed Christian Fellowship's Simply Singles group will meet at 7 p.m. July 27 at 4840 Tempe St. For more information, call 842-5405.

The Connection will attend the Annual Youth Conference Tuesday through July 27 at Antioch Family Worship Center in Overland Park.

N. Lawrence Christian plans Sunday dinner

The Faris Family will perform during the 11 a.m. service Sunday at North Lawrence Christian Church, 647 Elm St.

A covered-dish dinner will follow the service. Guests are invited to bring a side dish or dessert to share.

West Side Presbyterian slates church picnic

West Side Presbyterian Church plans an "old-fashioned" church picnic at 5 p.m. Sunday at the church, 1024 Kasold Drive.

Hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks will be provided; guests should bring a side dish or dessert to share. The Faris Family will perform bluegrass and gospel music at 6:30 p.m.

Missionary to speak at Calvary Temple

Becky Hoshaw will speak during the 6:30 p.m. service Wednesday at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 606 W. 29th Terrace.

Hoshaw is a missionary to Honduras, where she works with children in a program called the Missionettes.

Blood drive planned at First Methodist

First United Methodist Church, 946 Vt., and the Community Blood Center will sponsor a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the church fellowship hall.

Topeka camp slates youth, family activities

Topeka A Christian camp for youth, families and church groups is planned Monday through July 29 at Forest Park Conference and Retreat Center, 3158 S.E. 10th St.

The camp features classes, crafts, evening worship, music and recreation.

Sweetwater music ministry will be in concert at 7 p.m. Monday.
