Two classes are offered. Part one, "Birth and Baby," will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday in the education classroom at the hospital. The class will focus on the benefits of breast feeding for mothers and babies, buying supplies, getting started, avoiding problems and maintaining a good milk supply. Fathers may also attend.
Part two, "Work and Beyond," will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, July 23, in the education classroom. The class will focus on introducing a bottle, breast pumps, storing milk, returning to work, introducing foods, and weaning.
The cost for one class is $15 per person or $20 per couple from the same household. For both classes, the cost is $25 per person or $35 per couple from the same household.
