New York Two players with Kansas connections Los Angeles Sparks guard Tamecka Dixon and Portland guard Jackie Stiles have been selected as reserves for the West team in Monday's WNBA All-Star game at Orlando, Fla.
The game will be televised by ESPN at 7 p.m.
Dixon played at Kansas from 1994 to 1997. She was the Big Eight player of the year in 1996 and was Big 12 player of the year in 1997.
Stiles, a Claflin native, is one of the WNBA's top rookies. She led Southwest Missouri State to the Final Four last spring.
