Tonganoxie Services for Dennis A. Fair, 79, McLouth, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Quisenberry Chapel, Tonganoxie. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Tonganoxie.
Mr. Fair died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.
He was born June 9, 1921, in Buffalo, Okla., the son of Norman and Calla (Allen) Fair.
Mr. Fair served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a farmer and also worked for Kansas Turnpike Authority for 27 years, retiring in 1991 as a supervisor.
Mr. Fair belonged to Henri Masonic Lodge No. 190 in Tonganoxie and Scottish Rite Bodies in Kansas City, Kan.
He married Ortha Ruth Kelly on April 21, 1947, in Washington state. She died May 14, 1988.
Survivors include three sons, Ross and Steven, McLouth and Bill, Burleson, Tex.; two sisters, Clara Madge Duble, Oklahoma City, and Marie Hare, Enid, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
