Ottawa Graveside services for Delores E. Motelet, 78, Eudora, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, with military honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post No. 5901, Ottawa. Cremation has taken place.
Mrs. Motelet died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, at Eudora Nursing Center.
She was born April 28, 1922, in Melvern, the daughter of Elmer and Doris (Dow) Gates. Mrs. Motelet, a longtime Ottawa resident, lived in Pleasanton from 1971 to 1983.
She graduated from Ottawa High School in 1940 and also attended Topeka Business School.
She served in the United States Navy during World War II, stationed in Hawaii from 1943 to 1946.
Mrs. Motelet was a newspaper advertising representative for 12 years, employed by the Pleasanton Tribune from 1973 to 1983 and the Ottawa Herald from 1983 to 1985.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Altar Society and a 50-year member of Home Demonstration Unit, all of Ottawa.
Mrs. Motelet married Gabe Motelet in 1946 in Wisconsin. He died Jan. 2, 1983.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis L. Motelet, Overland Park, and Mark A. Motelet, Osawatomie; a daughter, Lannie Lou Motelet, Lawrence; a sister, Babe Bell, Ottawa; and two grandsons.
