1-29 HEALTH DEPARTMENT STILL OFFERING FLU SHOTS

The Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department still has a supply of influenza vaccine and is administering flu shots during regular clinic hours.

Shots will be given on a walk-in basis to the public as long as supplies last, according to this schedule:

l 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the health department, 200 Maine.

l 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the health department.

l 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and Friday at the health department.

l 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Babcock Place, 1700 Mass.

l 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the health department.

l 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Baldwin First United Methodist Church, 704 Eighth St.

The cost for a flu shot is $8, but no one will be denied services because of an inability to pay.
