at Free State (5-7)

Tipoff: 7 p.m.

Notes: After playing just one home game during the first 57 days of the season, tonight marks the first of two in three days for the Firebirds. " Free State is coming off the Topeka Invitational Tournament last weekend, during which senior forward Pat Krivoshia scored a school-record 33 points in a 61-54 loss to Kansas City Washington in the third-place game. " Hickman Mills is coming of a 63-56 victory over Raymore-Peculiar on Tuesday night. " Sophomore center Keith Wooden (12.7 points per game) missed the last game with an illness and probably won't start tonight. " FSHS senior swingman Richie Dunlop (8.2) has quit the team. " Free State hopes Wooden and Krivoshia can make up for Dunlop's rebounding, and junior swingman Andron Cruse (7.1), senior guard Chris Luman (4.4) and sophomore point guard Neil Dougherty (3.6) can help pick up the slack with scoring. " Free State is 1-0 all-time against teams from Missouri -- knocking off Blue Springs, 46-37, in last year's Hy-Vee Shootout -- and 3-2 against teams from outside the state.

Next for the Firebirds: Shawnee Mission Northwest, 7 p.m. Monday at FSHS gym.
