The Cyclones, ranked No. 5 in Class 4A, improved to 8-1 with their fifth consecutive victory.

Junior Katie Sheffield contributed nine points for Ottawa.

Wellsville, now 0-9, was led by senior Jami Anderson's 12 points.

Next for OHS is the Top Gun Invitational in Wellsville next week. The Cyclones will open with Eudora at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Wellsville will open with Kansas City Piper at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Perry -- Tonganoxie outscored Perry-Lecompton 17-10 in the fourth quarter to rally for a Kaw Valley League victory over the Kaws. Keri Walker scored 14 points and Andrea Korb 13 to lead the Chieftains (4-4). Shannon Wilson scored 20 points to pace the Kaws (2-7).
