Pinehurst, N.C. — Kansas University sophomore Tiffany Kruggel finished tied for ninth place Tuesday as the Jayhawks finished sixth out of 20 teams in the Carolinas Collegiate Classic women's golf tournament.
Kruggel, who carded a 77 during Monday's opening round, fell to a 79 during the final round for a two-day total of 156. Her ninth-place finish marks her first career top-10 placing.
