— Funeral Mass for Sandra Violet Allen Algaier, 46, Belton, Mo., will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Catherine's Church, Kansas City, Mo. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Marceline, Mo.

Mrs. Algaier died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at her parents' home in Kansas City, Mo. She had breast cancer.

She was born June 18, 1954, in Kansas City, Mo. She graduated from Ruskin High School, Longview Community College and St. Luke's School of Nursing. She was an intensive care unit nurse in Kansas City, Mo., Lawrence, Kan., Dallas and Lincoln, Neb.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Algaier, Belton; a daughter, Malinda Algaier, Belton; two sons, Bill and Matt Algaier, both of Belton; her parents, John T. and Mary Ann Allen, Kansas City, Mo.; four sisters, Gloria, Carolyn, Marie and Deborah; and four brothers, John, Thomas, William and Richard.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Muehlebach Funeral Home, Kansas City, Mo., where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today.

The family suggests memorials in Mrs. Algaier's name to Kansas City Hospice or the American Cancer Society, sent in care of the funeral home, 6800 Troost, Kansas City, Mo. 64131.
