Boulder, Colo. Jenny Roulier scored 20 points and Mandy Nightingale had 17 as No. 19 Colorado stunned sixth-ranked Iowa State, 73-66, on Wednesday night.
Britt Hartshorn added 15 points for Colorado (18-5, 9-3 Big 12), which made 22 of 23 free throws and avenged a 34-point loss to the Cyclones on Jan. 27.
Angie Welle led Iowa State (20-3, 10-2) with 17 points and 11 rebounds before fouling out with 46 seconds remaining. Lindsey Wilson also scored 17 points for the Cyclones.
Iowa State had won its previous five games by an average of 25 points but never led after the game's first two minutes.
Colorado limited the Cyclones to 9-for-25 shooting from 3-point range.
