Richard Faust

No services for the Rev. Richard C. Faust, 69, Lawrence, are planned. Cremation has taken place.

Mr. Faust died Friday, Feb. 9, 2001, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born Feb. 3, 1932, in St. Peter, Minn., the son of Rudolph and Ethel (Wolfe) Faust. He graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College and Augustana Lutheran Theological Seminary.

Mr. Faust was a retired Lutheran minister. He had served parishes in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; Fargo, N.D.; Des Moines and Ottumwa, Iowa; and Omaha, Neb. He was vice president of development for Bethpage, a national organization serving developmentally disabled adults and children.

He married Barbara Funke. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Richard and James, both of Minneapolis; a stepson, Jeffrey Logan, Ottumwa, Iowa; a stepdaughter, Anne Slattery, Spencer, Iowa; and four grandchildren.

Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
