Booth-Meyers

Becca Booth and Chad Meyers, both of Lawrence, were married Sept. 1, 2001, at Circle S Ranch near Lawrence with Lew Hinshaw officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Hank and Sue Booth, Lawrence. The groom is the son of John and Connie Meyers, Shawnee.

Amy Booth was maid of honor. Jeff Meyers was best man.

Bridesmaids were Kim Booth, Laura Hubert and Sarah Graalman. Groomsmen were Andy Booth, John Weekes and Will Averill.

Ushers were Kyle Coleman and Brian Fleeman. Flower girls were Kennedy O'Dell and Chloe O'Dell. Tori Booth was ring bearer. Readers were Alison Preston and Hank Booth.

Diana Emmons was wedding coordinator. Guest book attendants were Dora Naughton, Brenda Leff and Maggie Allen. Brenna Fleeman and Barbara Fleeman were in charge of decorations.

A reception was held at Liberty Hall, where Megan Kirkpatrick and Leesa Shumate attended the gift and cake tables.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Christ Church, Barbados.

The bride is a 1996 Lawrence High School graduate. She received a theater degree in 2001 from Kansas University. She is employed at Footprints-The Birkenstock Store.

The groom is a 1994 graduate of Shawnee Mission Northwest. He also attended Waunakee (Wis.) High School. He attended Madison Area Technical College and works at Sunflower Broadband.

The couple live in Lawrence.

Dicker-Field

Emily Dicker and Brett Field, both of Lawrence, were married Sept. 15, 2001, at Danforth Chapel on Kansas University's campus with Robert Fairchild officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Jan Dicker, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Roger and Donna Field, Baldwin.

Maid of honor was Stacy Molton. Best man was Brandon Molton.

Ushers were James Dicker and Darren Field. Madelin Eastman and Emma Eastman were flower girls.

Michalis Koutsoupides was violinist. Christina Gordzica attended the guest book. Thomas Uhler assisted after the ceremony.

A reception was held at the SpringHill Suites.

The bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School and Washburn University. She is employed by Dan Watkins, attorney at law.

The groom is a graduate of Baldwin High School. He attends Johnson County Community College. He is employed by Kennedy Glass.

After a honeymoon trip to Estes Park, Colo., the couple live in Lawrence.

Hendry-Jones

Joanna Hendry, Lawrence, and Patrick Michael Jones, Fort Leavenworth, were married Aug. 11, 2001, at Memorial Chapel in Fort Leavenworth with the Rev. Larry H. Block officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Joe and Diane Hendry, Lawrence. The groom is the son of H. Michael Jones and Barbara Hampton, both of Weatherford, Tex.

Stacy Mitchell was maid of honor. Rusty Silva was best man.

Bridesmaids were Kate McNulty and Misty McCormick. Groomsmen were Harold Lease and Beau Adcox.

Ushers were Steve Mitchell and Andrew Norton-Mitchell.

A reception followed at Frontier Conference Center, Fort Leavenworth.

The bride is a 1999 Eudora High School graduate. She is employed by Vistronics, Lawrence.

The groom is a 1997 Weatherford (Tex.) High School graduate. He is in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Leavenworth.

The couple live in Fort Leavenworth.

Schmidtberger-Ingersoll

Karen Diane Schmidtberger and Jason Travis Ingersoll, both of Lawrence, were married Oct. 6, 2001, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with the Rev. James Shaughnessy officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Evelyn Schmidtberger, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Greg and Cindy Ingersoll, Marysville.

Maid of honor was Kristine Schmidtberger. Best man was Scott Cunningham.

Bridesmaids were Katie Green and Ann Andersson. Groomsmen were Brad Waller and Wayne Ryan.

Ushers were Jeff Ingersoll and Mark Vost. Riley Varuska was flower girl. Matthew Roe and Ian Raddatz were ring bearers. Michael Huerter was candle lighter.

Readers were Teri Varuska and Jim Byrnes. Leslie Griswold was guest book attendant. Greeters were Brittany Griswold, Alissa Griswold and Sarah Huerter.

A reception was held at Alvamar Country Club.

The bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School and Kansas University, where she earned bachelor's and master's degrees. She is employed as a communications specialist for the Kansas University Office of Public Safety.

The groom is a graduate of Marysville High School. He received a bachelor's degree from Bethany College, Lindsborg. He is employed as an assistant golf professional at Alvamar Country Club.

The couple live in Lawrence.

Stanwix-Folks

Diane Stanwix and Charles Folks, both of Lawrence, were married Oct. 20, 2001, at the First Presbyterian Church in Lawrence with the Rev. Robert Freitag officiating.

The bride is the daughter of R. Richard and Verna Stanwix, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Richard Folks Jr., St. Peters, Mo., and Carrol Freed, Lecompton.

Sarah Narcomey was matron of honor. Mike Bogner was best man. Bridesmaids were LuAnn Metsker, Shannon Stanwix, Marla Metsker and Mary Ann McIntire. Groomsmen were Jonathan Price, Bob Folks, Bill Folks and Gabe Reding.

David Metsker, David R. Metsker and Rick Stanwix were ushers. Flower girls were Erin Stanwix and Kate Stanwix. Justin Narcomey was ring bearer. Bell ringers were Abbi Folks and Cole Narcomey. Candle lighters were Evan Folks and Grant Metsker.

Beth Folks attended the guest book. Sue Evans was organist. Lena Stouppe was harpist.

A reception was held at Eagles Lodge, where Robin Folks, Cheryl Wagner and Gwen Wagner attended the cake table.

The bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School and Baker University. She is a third-grade teacher at Schwegler School.

The groom is a Perry-Lecompton High School graduate. He is a licensed plumber with Action Plumbing.

The couple live in Lecompton.

Vail-Gourley

Kara Michelle Vail and Troy Allen Gourley, both of Lawrence, were married Sept. 22, 2001, at Free Methodist Church in Lawrence with the Rev. Rick Ostrander officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Anita Vail, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Terry Gourley, Curtis, Neb., and Rose Gourley, Lincoln.

Amy Vail was maid of honor. Scott Wolf was best man.

Bridesmaids were Nicole Guy, Lindsey Belot and Shylo Pauly-Jepson. Groomsmen were Shannon Wiebke, Jim Gourley and Eric Vail.

Also in the wedding party were Chelsie Grammer and Samantha Gourley.
