She was born Oct. 28, 1920, in Flaxville, Mont., the daughter of Henry and Lula (McEwen) Molden. She had lived for many years in Overland Park and Minneapolis, Minn., before moving to Lawrence in June 2000.
Mrs. Pederson was a homemaker.
She married Blair E. Pederson on April 4, 1942, in Minneapolis. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Blair W. Pederson, Olathe, and Todd Pederson, Lawrence; and four grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the charity of the donor's choice, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
