FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. Ebi Ere made 10 of his first 13 shots and Hollis Price canned a momentum-stopping three-pointer as Oklahoma beat Arkansas, 69-54, on Friday night.
Ere, who finished with 29 points, had six points and Price had four during a 14-0 run that secured the victory.
Despite good defense by Arkansas (3-2), Price made a three-pointer that put OU (3-1) in front 39-37 only seconds after the Razorbacks had rallied from an 11-point deficit to take its first lead since the opening minute.
Uncontested, Ere put back a teammate's miss for 43-39 and started the five-minute spurt.

College Station, Texas Bernard King posted his third career double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead Texas A&M; over Long Beach State. The victory marked the first time the Aggies have started a season 4-0 since coach Melvin Watkins took over in 1998. Long Beach State (3-3) had four double-digit scoring performances out of their starting lineup, but just two points off the bench.

Ames, Iowa Tyray Pearson scored a career-high 21 points as Iowa State, playing its first full game without injured scoring leader Jake Sullivan, beat Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the first round of the Cyclone Challenge.
Shane Power added 18 points for the Cyclones (4-2), while Omar Bynum and Tommie King each scored 11. Bynum also grabbed 12 rebounds.
