To the editor:
Bravo for Mike Hoeflich's column (8/15/01), "Alcohol, games don't mix." He is SO right. The only possible reason for KU's permitting alcohol at football game tailgate parties is to increase revenue. But some things like a clear conscience, i.e., knowing KU has not contributed to more highway accidents, fights, or DUI's - are far more important than money, especially for an educational institution. Please, KU, DON'T do it.
