Orchard Park, N.Y. — Marc Bulger orchestrated a game-winning drive for the second straight game, leading the St. Louis Rams to a 24-10 victory over the Buffalo Bills in a mistake-filled preseason game Sunday night.
Bulger, a rookie free agent, led the Rams on a nine-play, 71-yard drive, capped by Justin Watson's 5-yard run up the middle that gave St. Louis a 14-10 lead 1:21 into the fourth quarter.
The Rams then sealed the victory, scoring 10 points on consecutive plays with under six minutes left. On the ensuing kickoff following Jeff Wilkins' 43-yard field goal, St. Louis' Chris Cummings recovered Avion Black's fumble and ran it in from 19 yards.
On Aug. 6, Bulger hit Jeff Robinson for a 3-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, sealing a 17-10 victory over Miami.
Bulger was 10-for-15 for 112 yards.
