Tonganoxie Services for Lucile Agnes Knapp, 74, Tonganoxie, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tonganoxie. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Mrs. Knapp died Friday, Aug. 3, 2001, at her home.
She was born March 13, 1927, in New Hampton, Iowa, the daughter of Walter and Agnes (Leitel) Kleinfehn.
She and her husband moved in 1973 to Tonganoxie from Junction City.
Mrs. Knapp was a retired registered nurse and homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Altar Society and a volunteer at Good Shepherd Thrift Shop, all of Tonganoxie.
She married Robert E. Knapp on April 28, 1951, at Camp Rucker, Ala. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include four sons, Walter Knapp, Topeka; Robert Knapp, San Diego; John Knapp, Houston, and James Knapp, Emporia; eight daughters, Mary Knapp, Manhattan; Margaret Knapp, Cincinnati; Kathleen Stockman, Tonganoxie; Martha Palmer, Topeka; Donna Somers, Tonganoxie; Regina Davis, Manhattan; Karen Bearden, Fort Eustis, Va., and Laura McLaughlin, Riley; a brother, Walter Kleinfehn, Norway, Iowa; a sister, Kathleen Riley, New Hampton, Iowa; and 18 grandchildren.
A son, Richard W. Knapp, died earlier.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie, where the rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
