The 2002 re-election campaign for Rep. Dennis Moore, D-Kan., has raised $450,855 as of June 30 and has $430,943 on hand, according to reports to be filed with the Federal Election Commission.
Of Moore's contributors, 892 were individuals and 67 percent of contributions were $200 or less. Kansas residents contributed 75 percent.

The Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center will have a Teachers and Space workshop Monday and Tuesday.

Teachers will ge an overview of the history of space exploration, astronomy and rocketry through a combination of hands-on activities and presentations by Cosmosphere space science education staff. Teachers will receive lessons plans and materials to take back to their classrooms.
The NASA/Kansas Space Grant Consortium will cover the entire cost for Kansas educators attending the workshops.
Graduate credit is available for attendees.
